Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

During the recent pandemic we contacted our supply chain to see if there was PPE available that might alleviate the shortages that were being seen in both the NHS and Social Care Sector.

Welsh Government have appointed Life Sciences Hub Wales as the primary contact for any organisation that feel they are able to supply, manufacture and/or distribute products or collaborate with others to develop products or solutions.

We have been through the audit process at the Life Science Hub and have been referred on as a potential supplier to NHS Wales.

The following items have been offered to us by our supplier network under this initiative.

• 2KR Visors compliant with EN 2016/425, EN166/2001, ISO180, ISO527-2, ISO179-1, ISO2039-2, ISO9001-2015, ISO14001-2015,  ASTMD543
• 3M N95 masks - direct from manufacturer
