The Challenge
Provide Falkirk Council with vehicle tracking and integrated management solutions to enable significant operational benefits in the areas of resource utilisation, efficiency, compliance, safety and security.
The Solution
GX developed a tracking solution utilising GPRS technology to control a fleet in excess of 250 vehicles. An integrated management solution allows users to locate vehicles and provides analysis tools to review vehicle performance against a wide range of criteria such as its relation to geo fences, idle times and daily start/finish times.
The Result
The system makes use of existing infrastructure to reliably track a large amount of vehicles and provide quick and easy access to real time and long-standing vehicle performance data.
