Apollo – InBio’s ambient air sampling device

01 November 2024

GX Group has been working in partnership with leading allergen research company InBio, on the development and manufacture of Apollo. InBio is recognised as the world leader in assessment of environmental exposure to allergens and Apollo is an innovative new ambient air sampling device that can be used to measure airborne allergens.

Apollo has been developed to simplify air sampling for the Indoor Air Quality industry. It has a removable filter that collects airborne allergens, endotoxins, and other airborne contaminants, and can be sent off for laboratory testing. Simple to use and whisper-quiet, the device is suitable for use in homes, schools, laboratories, and workplaces.

GX initially designed and built prototype units for testing, and these were so well received that InBio asked us to explore options for larger-scale manufacture. The second run of units has now been delivered to InBio ready to dispatch to clients. The whole project has gone very smoothly, and everyone is delighted with the end result. We are now looking forward to further scaling-up production of the Apollo to meet predicted demand. Read more >
